Job Description

Sol Lee’s Korean Restaurant, located at 550-329 North Road, Coquitlam, British Columbia V3K 3V8 Canada, is currently looking for one permanent, full time Ethnic Food Cook experienced. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.

1. Position: Ethnic Food Cook (Korean cuisine)
2. Vacancies: One (1)
3. Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
4. Compensation: $20 per hour (depending on experience)
5. Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
6. Benefits: 4 % of vacation pay / Free meals at work and tips

Job Duties

1. Prepare and cook Korean foods such as Korean Hot Pot, Korean rice dishes, and Korean style noodles, etc.
2. Create new menus and be responsible for reflecting customers’ feedback
3. Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
4. Supervise kitchen helpers with respect to food preparation and oversee kitchen operations
5. Monitor food inventory, supplies and equipment
6. Abide by safety and hygiene rule
7. Be able to work on shifts (day, evening, night and/or weekends)

Requirements

1. Completion of secondary school
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a cook in a commercial restaurant or completion of program in cooking is required.
