Position Overview: As a
Client Service Representative , you will be the face of our hospital, providing exceptional service to clients and their beloved pets. Working alongside experienced veterinarians and a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both clients and patients.
Compensation: - $19-$25 pending skills assessment leveling
- $2.50 Shift Premium:
- Weekdays from 5p – 8a
- Weekends: Any hours worked between Fridays 5p – Mondays 8a
Schedule: - Aiming for three 12-hour shifts
- Combination of 1 st /2 nd /3 rd shift hours – flexibility needed
Job Requirements and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a veterinary emergency hospital setting preferred
- Display compassion and patience toward clients
- Interact positively in a team environment with members of the medical treatment team
- Answer incoming phone calls from clients, veterinarians, and employees
- Greet clients and pets upon arrival
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly
- Present billing estimates to clients and collect payment for bills
- Admit and discharge animal patients
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their pet and/or wait time
- Document phone conversations in the electronic system
- Maintain and file patient records and complete all necessary paperwork
- Enter patient information into the company electronic system
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
