Job description

Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a Terminal Business Manager at our Moncton, New Brunswick location. The selected candidate will oversee staff and resources to ensure work is being performed according to established standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage all aspects of the terminal operations, staff management, and equipment allocation coordination. Ensure that operations are executed according to industry standards and regulations.

· Manage labour based on volume, customer, and operational requirements.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Ensure their transportation needs are met and seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

· Ensure adherence to federal and provincial regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and incidents.

· Measure operating results, develop action plans, implement and measure impact of actions. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as required.

· Provide strong leadership to the Moncton team. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Develop and implement contingency plans for handling disruptions that may affect the operation.
