Job description
CLIMAX COMFORT AIR LTD is a leading mechanical and industrial engineering company specializing in HVAC systems. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a key role in the installation and repair of residential and commercial furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, tankless, and general service and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioners, and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, and provide appropriate solutions
- Perform regular inspections of HVAC systems and their components to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and customers to determine the best course of action for HVAC system installations and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including documentation of parts used and labor hours
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on HVAC systems
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions regarding HVAC systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-12 months of experience as an HVAC Technician
- Gas license 2 or 3
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficient in using HVAC testing equipment and tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Must have a G driver's license and clean transportation history
