Description

The Saskatoon Housing Authority is hiring a Maintenance Technician Supervisor. This position supervises 11 technician positions and is responsible for orientation, training, annual reviews, tools and shop cleanliness, inventory, tools, and vehicles. You will coordinate work schedules, track employee leaves and ensure maintenance is completed in accordance to SHA standards and policies. Coordinate annual building (interior/exterior) inspections and smoke detector tests. Remain current in technical development, advance practices, equipment, supplies, materials & regulatory codes.

QUALIFICATION:
. Grade 12 or equivalent
. Post-secondary technical certificate/diploma - Journeyperson Trade certificate - and/or - 5 years experience supervising, combined with knowledge & experience in property management,
. valid driver's license and use of roadworthy vehicle
. $1,000,000 3rd party liability vehicle insurance
. Clear criminal record check w/vulnerable sector
. proficiency in English is essential (reading-writing-communication)
