Job Title: Server
Main Purpose of the Job:
To deliver food and beverage service to guests in a friendly, effective, and timely manner while paying close attention to each guests specific needs and providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere within the establishment.

Shift leader and/or FOH management.

Shift leader and/or FOH management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service
Maintaining thorough knowledge of both food and drink menu
Greeting guests and presenting menus
Verbalizing specials and making suggestions based on guest preferences and or restrictions
Taking drink and food orders and sending them to appropriate departments
Delivering food and drink to tables in a timely manner
Working with other team members to keep the restaurant clean as well as staying on top of all daily duties to make sure they are completed
Cleaning tables and sections frequently during service
Cooperating and communicating with all FOH and BOH throughout the day to ensure the flow of service is smooth at all times
Handling and keeping cash and card payments organized throughout each shift
Adhering to all health department rules and regulations surrounding alcohol service as well as COVID-19 protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year serving experience required
Previous experience using PixelPoint POS considered an asset
Must be Smart Serve certified
Must speak fluent English. Any additional languages considered an asset.

Cold conditions: Keg fridge, beer fridge, cold room & patio in the winter months.
Hot conditions: Patio during the summer months
Chemicals: We have a range of chemicals and will train you to use them safely and effectively.
Schedule: Must be able to work a range of shifts from, early morning starts(7am) to late night finishes (3/4am)
Physical Requirements
Strength Guidelines
Must be able to lift in excess of 25lbs to move tables, chairs, carry trays with glassware, as well as multiple plates.
Be able to carrying a tray of drinks and or food.
Motion Parameters
Must be able to work on foot for upwards of 8 hours with appropriate breaks given.
Have the ability to climb stairs frequently throughout the shift.
The job may require squatting, kneeling, standing & walking
Must be confident in carrying a tray.
Will be required to work at a high output fast paced service.
Have a sense of urgency
Vision and Hearing Requirements
Will be required to read beverage recipes and adhere to them at all times
Will be required to communicate with colleagues so an efficient service can run.
Will be required to operate the point of sale system and credit card machine.
Psychological Demands
Have a strong mindset. The job can be challenging at times.
Able to focus while having other tasks to-do.
Must be able to make quick decisions, multitask and work well under pressure
