CANADA’S LEADING HOME FURNISHINGS RETAILER IS NOW HIRING A CONSUMER ELECTRONICS BUYER

Leon’s Furniture Ltd. is looking for an experienced Consumer Electronics Buyer who has the ability, drive and determination to play a key role in helping to strengthen our brand while maintaining our position as a leader within our industry. This is a fully in-office (non-remote) position. Our office is located at Highway 401 and Highway 400. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for product selection, incorporating the newest technologies while overseeing assortment planning, purchasing, supplier relationships, merchandise allocation, managing inventory levels, and business analytics for the consumer electronics category. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing for product campaigns and promotions. The candidate will be a detail oriented self-starter, and a creative problem solver with knowledge and passion for electronics.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Your passion for all things electronic, including televisions, audio, smart home products, etc.
• Your knowledge of retail merchandising category management, particularly with experience in consumer electronics
• Your skill of operating in a fast paced, high-growth environment
• Your willingness to demonstrate values of accountability, service, integrity and innovation
• Your enthusiasm for organization, goal-setting, problem-solving and project management
• Your ability to manage multiple priorities and meet or exceed prescribed deadlines
