Our client, a manufacturer in the food industry, is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing decisions aimed at improving the safety, quality, and efficiency of the company's manufacturing activities. The incumbent of this position will work closely with the production team as well as all managers of the company and will be called upon to manage various departments.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the maintenance team and various service subcontractors (HVAC, electricians, etc.) for production and building equipment.
Management and planning of work orders and preventive maintenance.
Plan repairs in a food manufacturing plant.
Find suppliers and make purchases of certain equipment and their parts in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Recommend the purchase of equipment.
Coordinate projects to implement new equipment or updates to equipment and machinery, products, and/or procedures.
Support the production team in resolving various issues.
Provide leadership in health and safety and sit on the health and safety committee.
Qualifications
DEC in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Up-to-date with best practices and compliance with applicable standards and laws.
Strong ability to plan and be proactive.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
Proficiency with computer tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.
