PME Inc. is based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The PME Group provides industrial and civil site work, commercia l sewer, water work, and com m on construction services to the municipal, industrial, and oil and gas industry in Canada.
Key Information:
- Conduct environmental site inspections and assign corrective actions when necessary.
- Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday) with the option for overtime as required.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
- Conduct environmental site inspections and assign corrective actions when
- Aiding in the development of documentation such as Environmental Management Plans and project ECO Plans;
- Supporting the imp le mentation and continuous improvemen t of the Environmental Management System;
- Supporting imp le mentation, compliance, and aud iting of project spill prevention and waste management processes;
- Responding to and reporting environmental Incidents;
- Office / Field combination with potential overnight travel (Project work across BC through Saskatchewan);
- Construction monitoring (i.e. Water quality monitoring, wildlife/nest sweeps, vegetation surveys, )
- Supporting project team members;
- Com p le ting client prequalification documents;
- Tracking and maintaining perm it app lication/ renewal status to support work activities;
- Support the preparation of perm it app lications and associated
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Minimum3-5yearsofrelevant
- Must possess a valid drive r' s license with a clean driver's abstract;
- Must possess (Or be willing to obtain prior to jo b start) current WHMIS 2015 and CSTS;
- Must successfully complete pre- access drug and alcohol testing;
- Knowledgeableincurrentbestmanagementpracticesandregulatoryrequirementsforwetlandassessments and applications;
- UniversityDegreeortechnicaldiplomaisrequiredinEnvironmental,EarthScience,Biology,or Environmental Engineering
- QWSPand/orQAESwithprofessionalregistrationinoneofAlberta'sProfessionalRegulatory Organizations;
- Abilitytodemonstrateleadership,quality,safety,andcustomerservice focus
- Extremely proficient adm inistrative skills and a highly professional demeanor requ ire d;
- Diligence, organ izational and time management skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Proficient in the operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Education: UniversityDegreeortechnicaldiplomaisrequiredinEnvironmental,EarthScience, Biology, or Environmental Engineering.
