About the Opportunity

This position is a member of the Urgent Care Service (short term follow up services), Mental Health and Addictions. Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions, the clinician provides advanced assessment, intervention, brief follow up and care planning for urgent care clients across the lifespan, with the goal of stabilization and connection to necessary mental and addictions services as required. Clients may be transitioned from the emerge department crisis team and/or from other services or departments both internal and external to Nova Scotia Health.

About You

Two (2) years related clinical experience (including assessment and planning, treatment and intervention and discharge planning) is required.  If not available, candidates with less than two (2) years’ experience may be considered for the selection process. If offered employment, they will be placed on the Clinical Therapist (Dev) HTH130 scale

Compensation and Incentives

Clinical Therapist
$37.31 - 49.05 hourly

 
Clinical Therapist (Developmental) 
$33.27 - $42.01 hourly
