Vansickle & Son Holdings Ltd Position: Experienced Painter Wage: $26.00-$30.00 per hour Shift: Full-time / Monday - Friday / Some weekends / Regular-time / Over-time Start Date: January 2024 Our local company is in search of an experienced painter in the Victoria BC area who is willing and capable to complete the following duties: Duties & Skills: - Has a valid drivers license & vehicle to get to job sites. - Painting: Cutting in, brushing & rolling high end buildings or spaces. - Drywall: Repairing & patching drywall surfaces. - Caulking: Caulking of joints and gap sealing. - Preparation of surfaces for paint. Removing old paint, filling holes, repairing cracks, sanding. - Clean & maintain proper care of painting equipment & tools. - Maintain a clean and tidy workspace - Able to prioritize & meet deadlines - Able to interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional & friendly manner. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional: 90 day probation period. Benefits: A company vehicle will be provided to you sometime after the probation period. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina & the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
