Responsible for providing resource and geographically based information and analysis, the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship supports timely, evidence-informed policy and decision-making and provides a pathway to balancing the goals of economic activity, environmental sustainability, and advancing Indigenous reconciliation. Advancing cross ministry governance and bringing together multidisciplinary teams from across government, the ministry will assist the sector in addressing the most challenging cross-sector initiatives and strategic priorities.

The Web Content Officer provides technology support services including receiving, diagnosing, resolving and/or escalating service requests on a range of incidents; as well as designing, developing and managing ministry and coordinated natural sector ministries communications content and materials for the web; and maintaining the ministry and sector internal and external websites and related SharePoint sites and Microsoft 365 applications. This position works closely with staff across the spectrum of the ministry including senior leadership and often delivers technology solutions on behalf of executive ministry staff.

About this Position:
Currently there is one (1) permanent opportunity available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position can be based in any Ministry of Water, Land and Stewardship Resource office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
