And ensures excellent customer service, maintains strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors with a strong sales-minded attitude as well as excellent leadership skills.*Job Duties but Not Limited To: ** Responsible for profitable and effective management of the Service Department* Responsible for servicing branch service and rebuild needs* Manage a team of Foreman and Service Writers* Customer contact for quotations, repair updates and warranty concerns* Assist Branch Managers in advising their shop foreman* Liaise with Customer, Sales and internal teams as required on service issues and opportunities* Assist in all technical aspects, including diagnostics and parts support where required* Drive team productivity to meet or exceed Company KPI’s* Labor Utilization* Gross Profit and Margin* Expense Management* Service Sales* Manage warranty and rework to less than 1% of sales* Manage technicians to a timely and productive service schedule* Act as an ambassador for Health and Safety, including corporate initiatives such as COR* Comply with all safety requirements such as toolbox meetings, safety meetings and hazard analyses* Manage administrative requirements such as cost coding and time and materials allocations* Perform required HR responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, disciplining and terminations* Mentor and train new Foreman* Any other duties or projects assigned by the General Service Manager*QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:** Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in a shop setting* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer pay shop* Journeyman mechanic certified (off road)* Experience with heavy construction equipment* A sound set of administrative skills* A solid safety record* Ability to motivate, coach and lead teams through change and growth* Ability to work within a flexible schedule*Reporting to: *General Service Manager*Who We Are: *Founded in 1927, Union Tractor backs its product selection with almost 100 years of experience and as the largest non-O.E.M. heavy equipment parts and service dealer in Western Canada our mandate has always been to provide OEM quality service and parts at aftermarket prices, with 6 locations through Western Canada._*\*Gear Up for An Exciting Career\**__*\*Get multi-brand experience in heavy duty off road equipment\**_We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.Union Tractor is an equal opportunity employer, where we celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
