Description

We are hiring General Labourers for our food manufacturing warehouse in Etobicoke, ON.

We manufacture pork products, specifically salami deli meats, working directly with the meats and muscle. Employees must be comfortable working with cured meats products.

Summary:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor of the Department, the Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that assist in the further processing of quality products to meet customer and company standards. This position works in a fast-paced, production-style line environment, and includes repetitive, at times heavy, work.

Pack meat products into trays or boxes and apply labels to cartons
Feed and unload processing machines
Salami, pork processing, slicing
General housekeeping duties, keeping work stations clean and maintained

Pay:

$19.41/HR

Shifts Available:

Days: 6:30AM 3:00PM
Afternoons: 2:30PM 11:00PM

This is a day-to-day position. Production demands change daily; therefore, we are not currently offering long-term opportunities.

Requirements:

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Clear criminal record check
English, written and spoken
