Your new role
Based in Burlington, the Supervisor leads and develops the team to achieve the required results utilizing KPI’S. In addition, this commercially focused role ensures a seamless customer journey through process optimization throughout the Project Acquisition Life Cycle, including instrumentation, engineered solutions, and value-added professional services to select global, national, and regional strategic accounts.
Role + Responsibilities
- Supports team through orientation, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and other employee needs
- Leads and manages team through change in systems, policies, processes and procedures and identifies training opportunities for current staff
- Reviews customer experience and removes roadblocks where needed to seamless customer journey
- Primary contact for escalation, prioritization, and coordination of TASKS or PCon activities for PCon Team
- Ensures team follows One Business Process Management processes steps as outlined in (Signavio) Company Process Management Tool and ISO 9001 guidelines
- Supports, and leads where necessary, any changes along the process life cycle within ONE BPM framework.
- Ensures all appropriate processes are followed to successfully meet Global and Functional Performance Indicators for Project Acquisition cycle
- Ensure the customer’s needs and expectations are met by the Company
- Attends quarterly Extended Leadership Team meetings and trainings
- Gives status reports and updates to manager on team and any challenges that need assistance/escalation.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
- Post-secondary technical education preferably in instrumentation, process control, automation, electronics or engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in proposal development cycle including creation of technical proposals and interaction from customer to quote
- Leadership/Supervisory experience
- Intermediate computer processing skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Bilingual English and French an asset.
