Job description
• The Global High Value Payments Technology team supports wire payments processing for client. They are looking for a Developer to support the current payment system. The Developer will be responsible for analyzing the requirements, document the changes, develop programs, perform testing and complete implementation.
• The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using Legacy languages and technologies to support business requirements.

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
• 10+ years development experience on Tandem platform
• 10+ years of experience on COBOL programming
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC?
• 1-2 years’ experience on BESS
• Previous Banking/FI experience – client’s experience is a bonus
• Experience with Wire payments processing
• Experience with SWIFT
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
• Previous client’s experience – candidate familiar with the process with minimal learning curve
• Collaborative and self-directed
• 1 round – MS Teams Video Interview – 30 minutes – with HM and another team member
• Background and experience, examples from previous roles and behavioral questions
• Candidates need to work on after hours support rotation the manager will clarify and provide more details during the interview stage
