Position: Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist
Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: North York, ON
Salary$55,000

We are looking for a Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist on a full time contract.

Do you have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a collections / accounts receivable capacity?
Do you have an understanding of basic accounting principles?
Do you have proven collections experience working in a high volume environment?

Responsibilities
In this Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist role in North York, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Perform outbound calls to collect past due arrears
- Respond to inquiries regarding delinquent accounts

- Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis
- Review and resolve billing related issues
- Exercise tact, judgment and discretion when dealing with clients

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate for the Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist position in North York you will meet the following requirements:

- At least 2-3 years working in collections / accounts receivable function
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and proven collection work experience
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable to change in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills
