About the Role:
In this pivotal role youll spearhead our financial operations focusing on comprehensive financial reporting budgeting and strategic planning across all business areas. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the organization towards achieving its short and longterm goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting process including the preparation of consolidated financial statements and monthly management reports to inform decisionmaking.
- Handle all accounting tasks such as reconciliations payroll and HST filings ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison for yearend audits managing external audit processes efficiently.
- Oversee and enhance accounting controls and systems identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to annual forecasting and budgeting exercises aligning financial strategies with company objectives.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements maintaining compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
Requirements
Candidate Profile:
- Holds a Canadian CPA designation.
- Boasts 8 years of experience in senior financial roles with a background in strategic finance investment banking or consulting.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Exhibits the ability to form collaborative relationships with internal teams.
- Thrives in fastpaced dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity.
- Experience within the SaaS or highgrowth tech sectors is highly desirable.

Position Details:

- Salary range: $100000 to $120000 with bonus potential.
