Canada Sheep and Lamb Farms is a division of the North American Lamb Company . Our team members are passionate about working with animals and enjoy a fresh air outdoor environment every day. We are constantly striving to improve and better ourselves so that we can remain the largest lamb producer in Canada. We are looking for someone who enjoys working on a team and has an interest in learning more about the lamb industry.
We are currently looking to hire a Full-time Lambing Barn Technician at our Sarto location. This will be a day shift with every other weekend required.
Job Opportunities
- Daily lambing barn animal care
- Vaccinating ewes
- Assisting in shearing, sorting, and breeding procedures
- Cleaning and moving animals
- Pen cleaning & bedding
- Some equipment operation
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures on all above responsibilities

Requirements - Commitment to social distancing and safe health practices away from work
- Interested in learning about animal care and the livestock industry
- Attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
- Patience with livestock
- Enjoy working on a team
- Able to work independently when required
Assets - Previous experience dealing with animals or working at a farm or breeding operation
- Education experience in agriculture
