We will provide:
- Salary: $ 17.00 – $18.00 per hour
- Hours: Range of 32 – 40 hours per week throughout your employment period
- Paid vacation of 10 calendar days each year or 4% of salary
We are looking for natural leader to support our General Manager.
Duties
- Assigning duties, responsibilities, and workstations to crew members in accordance with schedules during the shift.
- Participate in inventory management by ordering daily food supplies, including raw vegetables and meat products.
- Manage the restaurant’s daily operation, running the floor, briefing the staff and supervising the restaurant set-up.
- Responsible for closing & opening the restaurant in accordance with the shift
- Prepare a weekly schedule of crew members.
- Train new and existing staff members on the policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests, teams, and coworkers.
- Assist in greeting guests, taking orders and responding to our guest’s complaints and concerns to provide an upscale dining experience.
- Assist in ensuring that shipments received from vendors include fresh and top-quality ingredients.
- Prepare daily reports of sales, inventory, and wastage for the Manager
- Maintain adherence to Gino’s Pizza’s quality control standards for both food preparation and service.
- Manage all communications within the appropriate timeframe and provide customers with an experience that wants them to return for more.
- Perform regular inspections of the kitchen and the dining area.
Requirements
- Secondary School Completion
- Minimum six months of experience in similar role.
- Ability to legally work in Canada
