With the increased trend for virtual/remote customer engagement, the Territory Manager is expected to navigate and fully leverage both selling environments. The expectation is that approximately 20% of customer engagements would be remote, so proficiency in verbal/written communication & influence as well as emerging digital tools is critical.*For optimal success in this role, we require that candidates are bilingual in English and French.*What you'll doSell, promote and merchandise Colgate's professional productsBuild and grow relationships with Dental practices that will drive salesConsistently identify and engage new business opportunitiesDevelop, with the support of a Regional Manager, territory business plan prioritizing largest/most profitable opportunities, continuously decreasing cost-to-serveBuild and maintain successful working relationships with Corporate DSO team, Remote Selling Team, Call Center, Marketing, 3rd party's distributor's Sales Force, and Dental Professionals to deliver business resultsRepresent Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals at dental conventions, local dental/hygiene associations & study clubs and dental/ hygiene schoolsEducate customers through detailing and in-clinic seminars/lunch & learns on the superior efficacy and value of Colgate professional portfolioUtilize Customer Relationship Management (C4C) system on a daily basis to document call activitiesEffective Management of product samplesWhat we'll expectYou are highly self-guided, analytical and organized and eager to build relationships in your territoryYou have strong communication, relationship building, and presentation skills, including experience communicating with Dental ProfessionalsYou are highly competitive, tenacious, and self-motivatedYou have strong selling skills - you demonstrate the ability to persuade, negotiate and closeYou're digitally savvy and quick to adopt new technologiesRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree0 - 2+ years experience in salesExcellent communication skills (internal and external, all levels)Bilingual (must be able to speak/write in French & English fluently)Availability to travel (30%) (includes part of the Montreal West Island, Laval & St- Jérôme)Preferred qualificationsSales experience in the dental industry CPG and/or medical devicesKnowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape in health care productsProficiency with Google Drive Tools: Google Doc, Google Slides, Google SheetB2B, Hygienist or Dental Office ExperienceOur Commitment to SustainabilityWith the Colgate brand in more homes than any other, we are presented with great opportunities and new challenges as we work to integrate sustainability into all aspects of our business and create positive social impact.
