- Assist Head Chef with all aspects of culinary operations including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, etc.
- Leads by example, trains and coaches’ team to provide an excellent, memorable culinary experience
- Assists in s our cing , order ing and maintain ing inventory of high-quality supplies to enhance our guest’s experience
- Oversees the employee dining room ensuring cleanliness, food quality, and team performance
- Effectively resolve guest complaints and restore guest satisfaction through active listening, creative problem solving and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with all managers and departments to ensure coordination with F&B services, guest needs, quality control, etc.
- Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to appropriate departments
- Assist in creating daily specials highlighting local ingredients and Alberta-inspired cuisine
- Assist team with food prep , cooking, serving, expediting and other operational duties when necessary
- Train and invest in culinary team’s learning and growth
- Assist with ordering, inventory, scheduling, etc
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen stations
- Maintain provincial and federal food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPS and company standards
- Wears the proper uniform and ensures team appearance and presentation standards are upheld
- Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets
- Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
- Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- 1-3 years high-volume culinary management experience required
- Culinary degree or training preferred
- Current Food-Safe certification or food handler sanitation certificate required
- W ork-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
- Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
- C ommitted to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
- O rganized with a g reat eye for detail

This fun, summer job runs from May to September 2024.
