Job description

Position Job Title: Facilities Assistant

Location: Vancouver, BC (On-Site)

Reports To: Associate Director Facilities & Building Operations


Primary Purpose

University Canada West is seeking a full-time Facilities Assistant who will assist in managing UCW facilities and will be responsible for general maintenance of the physical facilities, resource support for day-to-day building operations and maintaining a clean and safe facility environment for an optional learning and work environment. This position provides maintenance, custodial and office moving services within the campus buildings. Providing excellent customer service and support to patrons by providing conflict resolution, and information about Campus Recreation programs, services, and facilities, is also expected of a Facilities Assistant. Other duties may be assigned by Supervisor/Manager.


Specific Responsibilities

The Facilities Assistant will at various times be responsible for the following as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the University.
