Job description

Our client in Baie D'urfe is currently looking for a hotel coordinator for their ever growing organization. Under the supervision of the manager, you will be responsible for the development of the cooperatives’ hotel network and making the necessary recommendations to the manager to ensure quality customer service.

Responsibilities
In collaboration with the manager, ensure that the cooperative hotel network is developed to support
the number of clientele (expansion or new hotel);
 In collaboration with the manager, coordinate the work to be completed with the other coordinator and
reservation agents;
 Provide the hotel staff with the support needed to run the hotel using the established procedures;
 Visit the hotels to give staff members training, as needed and with the approval of the manager;
 In collaboration with the other coordinator, determine the topics to be covered in ongoing annual

training, prepare ongoing annual training courses for managers, assign an operating budget and
control it and keep track of supporting documents for grant applications.
 Keep procedural manuals up to date for training purposes
 Prepare to develop the following procedures on:

- The use of Hotello
- Using Outlook and Teams
- Respecting quality standards for maintaining rooms and public places
- The client’s reception and stay at the hotel
- IT tracking for equipment and technical problems;

Manage the assignment and inventory of Kaba lock codes for hotel staff;
Follow up with company on the plans and work done for a new hotel or a hotel expansion or
renovation;
-Mandate the interior designer in all new hotel projects or hotel expansion or renovation projects and
work closely with that individual;
-Order or purchase the furniture and supplies needed for the above-mentioned projects;
-Coordinate the opening of new hotels or hotel expansions;
-In the absence of the hotel manager or as needed, provide customer service (check-in/check-out,
receive complaints, etc.);
-Provide support to the reservation agents when there is a large volume of calls and assist with billing
requests
-In collaboration with the other coordinator, carry out the annual inventory of the hotels’ equipment and
supplies;

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience;
At least 2 years of experience in administration or customer service
management centre;
Experience in the hospitality industry (an asset);
Experience in project management;
Knowledge of the Hotello system (asset);
Excellent computer systems skills (Microsoft Office);
Be able to communicate in French and English, both orally and in writing;
Excellent interaction with customers;
Possess a sense of leadership, organization, and an aptitude for teamwork.
