Job description
We have partnered with our client located in Mississauga in their search for an Interim, ON-SITE Controller. In this role you will have responsibility for both Canada and US accounting operations up to financial statement preparation. Overseeing a small accounting team, this is a hands-on position with reporting to overseas Director and in-direct to onsite General Manager.

Responsibilities
Key of areas of focus include:
- monthly reporting, financial statement preparation: p & l, balance sheet, management reports, balance sheet account reconciliations including banks
- cash flow, cash forecasting
- oversee the day to day, a/p, a/r, in Canada & US, month end close
- forecasting
- hands on, roll up sleeves, someone flexible, versatile
- process small salaried payroll
- ERP experience, Accpac Sage, SAP are definite assets
- MS Excel
- ASPE is highly preferred
Qualifications
CPA designation
5-10 years of similar, relevant experience
Supervisory experience

This interim role is designed to keep the accounting operations running until a permanent solution is found while at the same time could be eligible to apply for that role.
