Objective

To clean the light rail vehicle to standards of Quality and Delivery that meets the Customer and ALSTOM expectations as a minimum.

To carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.

To perform the servicing activities (sanding, grease and wiper liquid filling).

To carry out such servicing and cleaning work on a shift basis, and circumstances.

To Perform and document routine inspection of the light train during Operations or Cleaning activities.

Responsibilities

• To clean the LRV,(dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents etc.) in line with specified Quality procedures. This will require Manual work and working on powered up trains in a safe and controlled manner
• To fill the grease tank, wiper liquid tank and sand system with specified Quality Procedures
• To carry out such work in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as lay down by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety policies
• To work with chemicals if necessary
• To use tools or equipment to perform the activities
• To remove graffiti without degrading the assets
• In case of Accident of Major failure, to participate to the rescue operations of the vehicle
• To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health & Safety
• To use computerized system for tracking operations
• To attend regular team briefings
• To read reports and manuals as and when required
• To report accidents/incidents
• To respect, clean and maintain his work environment

Education Requirement

• Secondary cycle diploma
• Work during night/weekend/Holidays will be required
• Minimum related experience of 2 years
• Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards preferable
• Work at height will be required
