Location: Gatineau, QC (Hybrid-3 days in office)
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of infrastructure technologies, including compute and storage services, across both on-premises environments and the Azure Cloud;
- Contribute technical guidance and proficiency in crafting durable, secure, and high-performing solutions;
- Focus on the operational sustainment of the IT infrastructure landscape;
- Provide technical leadership to team members within the domain coupled with supporting projects;
- Proactively envision and plan for future requirements;
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Minimum of 8 years in large dynamic IT environments, with at least 3 years in senior roles such as Senior Systems Administrator or Senior Cloud Administrator.
- Cloud Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of various Azure and AWS services including Virtual Machines, App Service, Storage, Networking, Active Directory, Functions, and more. Knowledge of networking concepts, backup, disaster recovery solutions, Virtual Machine Management, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Site Recovery Services.
- Windows and Server Management: Proficient in Windows administration (DNS, DHCP, File Services, ADFS, Storage Services, Public Key Infrastructure, PowerShell), Windows Security, and Baseline Management (GPO). Experience in server configuration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting with platforms like Windows Server, Linux/Unix, VMWare ESXi, or Hyper-V.
- Active Directory Management: In-depth expertise in managing Active Directory environments, including user management, group policies, domain controller configuration, and security.
- Complementary Skills: Familiarity with AWS Administration, ITIL experience with ServiceNow, Cisco Network Administration, Checkpoint Firewall Administration, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and system configuration.
- Education & Certification: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Microsoft Azure Certifications or relevant experience preferred.

Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, travel if required, support after-hours incident resolution, foster partnerships, and articulate solutions at technical and business levels.
- Adaptability: Agile mindset towards delivery, quick adoption of new technologies with innovative thinking, and a willingness to work on-site for a minimum of 3 days to perform effectively.
