Salary

$42.606 - $53.259

 

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

 

Shift 

Monday, Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday –9am – 5 pm . Tuesday 9 am to 9 pm . With every second Monday or Friday off . (not a guarantee of hours)

 

Mental Health Clinician -Child and Family Team

 

As an instrumental member of the Mental Health Program, the role of the Mental Health Clinician for the Child and Family Team, will provide care to patients in the Outpatient Clinic throught direct and indirect patient care. This will include biopsycosocial assessments.. The Child and Family Team consists of three Clinicians and one Psychiatrist who support children and adolscents 18yrs and younger. The Mental Health Clinician responds to referrals and consultations by assessing patients and developing safety and other treatment plans; identify relevant issues and works to establish measureable goals and objectives for patients. THis will include implementing treatment as needed and documenting all findings, interventions, and outcomes.. The Mental Health Clinician will participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning as well as liaising with community agencies for services required post discharge. The Mental Health Clinician may lead or participate in psycho educational and psychotherapy groups, and will offer individual therapy for patients and support for family members. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

 

** One (1) full-time Mental Health Clinician position to work Monday through Friday.

 

Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.

The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation. Valid criminal record checks are in original format and dated with two months from date of conditional offer from CMH.
