Job Purpose

As a Performance Test Designer, you will be responsible for the design, execution and reporting of technical, performance and functional testing of Dana TM4 Traction System products on dynamometers. As a Performance Test Designer, you will be responsible for the design, execution and reporting of technical, performance and functional testing of Dana TM4 tensile system products on dynamometers. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting engineering, performance and functional tests on dynamometers.
- Pre-test:

• Providing technical support to program teams in the development of their test plan and procedures
• Preparing and/or creating the required test sequences

- During the test

• Supporting the designated test technician in the execution of test sequences.
• Providing technical expertise to assist with product (motor and drive) troubleshooting.

- After the test

• Reviewing test data to ensure that the test has been successfully completed.
• Writing and reviewing test reports
• Follow-up with program teams in case of test failure

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years or more of relevant work experience in the testing field
- Familiarity with high-power electronics
Interest in vehicle electrification
- Knowledge of data acquisition software (LabView, TestStand) an asset
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, accelerometer, etc.
- Ability to communicate technical subjects concisely and effectively
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Proactive, committed and solution-oriented
- Professional knowledge of English
