Millwright - $$75k - $90k / yr - NW Winnipeg

Are you mechanically inclined with a strong ability to troubleshoot issues? D you have an industrial mechanic background in a manufacturing setting? Are you looking for a role that's primarily Monday to Friday daytime hours?
If so, look no further! A recycling and Production facility in NW Winnipeg is looking for an Industrial Millwright to join their maintenance team.
This role will focus on both preventative maintenance and urgent repair. Previous experience with heavy machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing industry will be an asset.

Permanent Position
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am -4 pm
Salary: Range based on experience $75k - $90k per year

Responsibilities
As an Millwright in the Production industry, a normal day would include:
- Troubleshoot equipment as required, such as conveyors, grinders, etc. to improve manufacturing efficiencies

- Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
- Perform maintenance repairs on equipment as directed by Maintenance Lead.
- Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations

Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
-Post-secondary education in a technical field or trade certificate as a Millwright
-Basic welding skills
-Candidates that are Red Seal certified with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
-Physically capable of prolonged standing, bending, lifting 60lbs, standing for long periods of time
- Able to legally work in Canada
