Truck Team Member - General Labour, Driver & Customer Service
Full-time & Part-time at our Victoria office
- Flexible Hours: Various shifts are available. We operate Mon-Sun from 7 am - 6 pm and offer compressed workweeks (F/T hours in 4 days).
- Starting pay: $18-$26/hr (base wage, profit share, tips all in)
With 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, each day is different from the next. You’ll be matched up with team members and travel around to different areas of the city in our awesome shiny blue trucks! You'll visit our customers’ homes or businesses to provide "No Contact Junk Removal Services" and take away their unwanted items. We are committed to being environmentally friendly by recycling, donating and other options for keeping as much out of landfills as possible.
Daily duties may include, but are not limited to:
Alongside another Truck Team Member, you'll operate the company vehicle or navigate alongside a driver (no special driver's license required) on assigned service routes for the day
Providing excellent customer service when you're on site to remove the items or give them an estimate that they've requested and educating them on our services
Retrieving, transportation, and disposal of unwanted items, responsibly
Qualifications:
- 21+ years of age (for insurance purposes)
- A valid standard driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years)
- Available 1 day over the weekends
- Reliable, hard-working, and a great attitude!
- Previous customer service, labor, or sales experience an asset (but not required)
- Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
