The Department of Surgery at Colchester East Hants Health Centre seeks to recruit a (0.8 FTE) Urologist, preferably with Canadian certification. The successful applicant will be part of a team of Urologists serving Truro and extending to include the entire Northern Zone of Nova Scotia. The Urology service is equipped to provide a full range of specialized surgical care. The urology service provides ER on-call coverage 24/7 for Truro and the Northern Zone, as well as ambulatory clinics. The successful candidate is expected to be part of the call rota and participate in at least 1 in 4 call.
Colchester East Hants Health Centre opened its doors to patients in 2012. Located in Truro, it serves as the main acute care facility for the residents of Colchester and East Hants Counties. Rooted in community support, the health centre has 122 inpatient beds and offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and satellite services.

Truro is conveniently located less than one hour's commute to Halifax and 30 minutes to the Halifax International Airport.
