Temp to Perm Property Accountant
Our client is on the search for a Temp to Perm Property Accountant to join their team! Reporting to the Controller, the Property Accountant will be responsible for the full cycle accounting duties of their portfolio of properties. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Manage the financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties
- Communicating with site managers directly and preparing job costing of real estate developments
- Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Assist with process improvement, special projects, and other tasks as required
Your strengths include: - CPA designation is an asset
- Strong technical accounting and Excel skills
- Self starting hands-on personality
- Ability to adapt to changes and to operate in a fast pace environment
- Job costing experience is an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with Yardi is a major asset
- Ability to start quickly
