Salary: $28.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Floor Covering Installer will be responsible for installing carpet, wood, linoleum, vinyl and other resilient floor coverings in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Prepare and install hardwood floors
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Prepare floors for installations
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience: 1 year of work experience 
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
