The Project Director will be responsible for building, managing, and monitoring the success of our Project Management Office (PMO). This includes overseeing and monitoring the performance of all Project Managers, providing strategic oversight, tactical recommendations, and relational mentoring. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting Project Management Teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
- Monitoring project schedules and budgets, implementing strategic risk management and mitigations, and supporting dispute resolutions.
- Actively participating in OAC meetings and associated conflict resolution processes.
- Ensuring projects are properly resourced and reporting project health to the Executive Team.
- Promptly resolving project deficiencies, ensuring client satisfaction, and documenting lessons learned.
- Building, nurturing, mentoring, and refining Project Management Teams.

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 20 years in the construction industry.
- Minimum 10 years working "at risk" for a General Contractor in Canada (CCDC 2, CCDC 14, CCDC 5B).
- Minimum 10 years in a Senior Project Manager role in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in business or construction-related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal, strategic decision-making, and negotiating skills.
- Experience in claims management and excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Procore and MS Project for complex scheduling.
- Residing in Niagara or willing to relocate within 6 months.
- Preference given to candidates with prior experience in a Project Director role.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
