Job Summary
Proposal Manager, Growth Team at Compass Canada
You’re a dynamic individual looking to challenge the status quo, positively impact the team culture and embody “Can Do” in your approach to the job. In this role you will be a senior contributor to a dynamic commercial team. You will execute the proposal process and better our proposal strategy across all sectors to help build and deliver best in class proposals. In this role you will influence and manage the corporate proposal process for our various brands. This role will report to the Director of Proposal Management and work closely with senior leaders of each business sector and their teams with the primary goal of driving the Growth Team’s proposal and creative objectives.

This is a hybrid role based local to the Mississauga office.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage the proposal process for large, complex, and strategic deals across the Compass Canada brand spectrum and diverse sectors
- Lead special projects to incorporate tools, software/platforms that will enhance the efficiency of the Sales Enablement team
- Enhance our proposal capabilities; both in-house and by leveraging our North American Compass Creative Studio (CCS) Team
- Review existing materials, compiling, organizing, developing, and editing drafts for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Develop content that utilizes effective and appropriate graphical representation to tell a story
- Design, format, and update standard proposal templates, to include outlines, themes, and action items, consistent with industry proposal methodologies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders — business development, program management, operating teams and financial personnel and CCS — to develop plans and schedules for proposal efforts using established practices and address specific RFP requirements.
- Establish best practices for bid materials through effective management and writing with a succinct approach to responding to bid requirement

- Minimum of 2 years professional writing experience in a fast-paced environment working with multiple strategic bids, RFP/RFI (public and private) responses, large and complex documents
- Superior communication skills and excellent customer and client-relationship skills, including professional writing and editing skills and able to effectively use graphical representation of data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven project management experience.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), InDesign, photoshop, illustrator with a proven ability to create and use templates
- Familiarity with proposal management software programs is a plus
- Bilingual (French/English)
