Job description

Join our Vancouver utility client on an initial 12 month contract as a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and process enhancements. Responsibilities
• Work with various team members to assist in access management sustainment activities by: managing the SharePoint site access provisioning through ServiceNow workflows; monitoring and responding to enquiries sent to email inboxes; carrying out access review processes; and preparing compliance documentation as required.

• Facilitate and lead collaborative workshops with subject matter experts, impacted stakeholders, and implementation consultants both internal and external to BC Hydro to conduct analysis for assigned deliverables.
• Create high quality documents such as governance plans, process impact assessments, risk and control analysis, process maps and designs, key decision documents, and service introduction plans; migration strategy, business scenarios, and use cases; and requirements traceability matrix to contribute to the standardization of processes at BC Hydro.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues by analyzing and recording changes to designs and scope to determine if a critical system or data set has been impacted.
• Collaborate with the business, vendors, and team members on data migration and system interface activities to ensure that dependencies are addressed, and requirements are recorded and communicated.
• Follow through on deliverables by conducting stakeholder reviews and securing approvals and sign-offs so that projects are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
• Assist the change management and/or training lead with communications, stakeholder analysis, change management approach, training, and roll out activities so that changes are implemented as planned.
• Assist project managers in planning activities for project implementations; testing, creation of test documents, and coordination of test activities; production cut-over activities; and transitioning from projects to operations to ensure viability of process design solutions that satisfy business requirements and project objectives.

Qualifications
• A minimum three (3) years of working experience as analyst on audit related activities, medium to large technology projects or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken
• Have an understanding of basic technology
• Must be a quick learner
