Overview
A hugely successful staffing agency based in Waterloo are looking for someone with a strong background in client relations to join as an Account Manager.
Salary: circa £30,000
The Role
- Manage and develop existing relationships with agency and brand clients through excellent implementation and servicing, and building trust and likeability through experience, expertise and a positive outlook
- Pro-actively seek and identify new business opportunities with clients
- Understand the day-to-day running of the account to be able to preempt and resolve issues before they arise
- Support the Account Executive to ensure all jobs are booked on time – with appropriate staff that meet all the client’s requirements
- Work with the Talent Manager to recruit additional staff, if required
- Build relationships with staff – particularly Event Managers – to drive loyalty and improve awareness of any issues that may develop
- Create campaign reports and ensure all reporting is completed accurately and on time
- Manage all financial aspects of the account in a timely manner, including producing quotes, invoicing and forecasting
- Demonstrate commercial acumen in meeting revenue targets for your account, supporting cash flow and protecting margins
- Manage and develop the Account Executive in their career development
Key Skills/Experience
- 3+ years in a client service role, with at least one year as Account Manager
- Experience of working with promotional staff – either at a staffing agency or as a client
- People management experience
- Awareness of the key importance of delivering impeccable service to clients
- Financial acumen
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Brilliant interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Plenty of initiative and enthusiasm
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to pick up new technology when training provided
