Right at Home is looking for an experienced, professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join us as a Personal Support Services Supervisor . This exciting role will require you to travel to the Ottawa area and a few parts of Eastern Ontario . As a supervisor, you'll oversee our team of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires that you are fluently bilingual in French and English.

Right at Home is looking for a team of special individuals who can offer a highly professional approach and commitment to our clients, families and Right at Home. We are looking for Nurses that live in Ottawa or Eastern Ontario region.

Our candidates will need:

• Home Care experience (preferred)
• Visiting client homes to assist in Improving the quality of Life for those we serve.
• Hours vary over 7 days a week
• Open to weekends and casual work as you build your clientele
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team.
• Leadership Skills and experience
• Organizational and Time management skills.
• Updated immunizations.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must drive and have access to their own vehicle and the Ability to travel freely to see clients
• Police Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
• Current, up to date certificate in standard first-aid and CPR

Responsibilities

• Complete in-home visits with clients.
• Complete detailed care plans, home assessments and consent forms
• Provide delegation to PSWs.
• Complete provider reports to HCCSS.
• Maintain up to date client information.
• Work collaboratively with all internal and external team members to support client needs.
• Supervise care delivery of PSWs.
• Hiring and Training of PSWs

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification/First Aid Training (required)
• 2-step TB test (required)
• VSS/Criminal Record Check (required)
• RN Nursing license and registered in good standing with the CNO (required)
• Proof of Personal Liability Insurance per CNO standards (required)

Employments – Part Time/ Full Time

COVID-19 considerations:

All nurses are to wear a mask while with a client. Personal protective equipment is provided. All nurses are to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination.

Work Locations: within the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region

• Client homes
• Locations outside of the client’s home and other sites as needed.
• Possible remote work from home on occasion
