Job description
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director Alberta, the Territory Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the territorial sales plan to maximize sales volume and product distribution.
Responsibilities
- Use fact based selling approach to grow the overall Dandurand Group portfolio within your territory
- Use a route plan to maximize time in front of customer within given territory, focus on spending time with the right customers
- Identify new opportunities within the On-Premise Channel
- Build plan to achieve quarterly sales targets
- Actively manage budgets
- 100% compliance in tracking account calls, targets, objectives, distribution and account management in CRM platform
- Forecast volume estimates for account purchases utilizing sales data
- Participate in supplier visits, trade events, marketing blitz programs, and consumer events, all of which may fall outside of normal business hours
- Maintain an excellent understanding of our products, the competitive landscape and the customer’s business
Education & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in a sales role
- Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry (strong asset)
- WSET certification Wine & Spirits (strong asset)
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM tools
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and dynamic leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication capabilities
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respect tight deadlines
- Ability to attend evening and weekends events
- Own a car and a valid driver’s license
