About Our Opportunity

We are looking for someone that thrives on delivering strategic and innovative solutions. As a member of the SAP Enterprise Architecture team within the SAP Service Management Group along side the SAP Modernization Program, the Technical Architect is responsible for the daily operations of the SAP Platform Support Services and working with the SAP Service Management CRM’s, SAP Project Management Office, SAP Service Providers, SAP Vendors, NSDS infrastructure operations and NSDS Change Action Board (CAB), Architecture Review Board (ARB) teams to deliver an efficient and effective service to all of our SAP clients.

Reporting to the Manager of SAP Architecture and Strategy the Technical Architect will ensure that proper attention is placed on the people, process, technology, and business aspects of the SAP landscape.

Primary Accountabilities

As the Technical Architect, your responsibilities will include:

 

• Responsible for ensuring our hybrid On-Premise / Cloud SAP environment is in compliance with established licensing agreements.

• Coordinating changes to the SAP Landscape, including reviewing and approval of technical changes to the SAP Environment. Must be detailed oriented.

• Providing administrator services as assigned, including the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) environment, and SAP One.

• Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative working relationships with peers, clients, and a broad range of stakeholders.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for SAP solutions, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

As the successful candidate you will have a bachelors degree in Information Technology plus three (3) years related experience; or graduation from a recognized Information Technology Program plus three (3) years; or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.

In addition, you have:

• superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and equally with business and technical experts

• Experience with vendor licensing agreements for technical landscapes, including Cloud hosted.

• Ability to navigate complex and often conflicting situations is necessary in this environment.

• Strong problem solving, analytical and facilitation skills.

• Work with minimal supervision, have a high degree of accuracy, and make good business decisions.

Assets

The following would be considered an asset:

• Worked in an SAP support services organization.

• Proficiency and sound functional knowledge with Power point, Visio or other architecture design tools.

• Experience with SharePoint.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
