On behalf of our client in Richmond, BC , Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Senior Curam Developer for a 12-month contract opportunity.
Specific, Responsibilities and Deliverables: - The Senior Java-Cúram Developer leads agile software development activities.
- They are responsible for developing one or more parts of the Claims Management System and integration with other systems, including designing to fit into the enterprise architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution.
- This position fully participates in agile activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement, promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
- 9-12 years (real time) of Java-Cúram development work experience.
- Experience as a lead developer, planning and implementing complex enterprise applications in Java-Cúram.
- Excellent demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, applying logical reasoning and sound technical and/or business knowledge.
- Excellent ability to grasp complex concepts and guide the activities of system and subject matter experts on solutions and optional technical approaches.
- Extensive experience building large scale, complex, interdependent systems.
- Extensive experience with development and testing in a Cúram environment.
- Knowledge of .Net would be highly regarded.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification such as SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
