Commercial Lines TSR - Newmarket
Our client in Newmarket is an established commercial brokerage, representing some of the largest and most reputable Canadian Insurers. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Technical Service Representative to join their team of knowledgeable brokers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of documents: binders, proposals, certificates of insurance, liability slips, working papers, client correspondence & invoices.
- Data entry into TAM: customer information, policy information, coverages and billing.
- Follow-up with underwriters and claims personnel for outstanding items.
- Prepare documents for sending policies & endorsements to clients.
- Obtain quotes for financing & process applications/contracts.
- Initial review of documentation from Insurers.
- Filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying as required.
Qualification & Experience:
- Detail oriented with a desire to learn commercial insurance.
- Strong communication skills and customer service driven.
- RIBO license in good standing (an asset)
- Previous experience in the insurance industry a definite asset.
