Job description

Our Burnaby government client is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect on an initial 8 month contract to lead the implementation of technology enhancements within their Health System Intelligence Solutions. Responsibilities
• Review, refine and prioritize recommendations for technology changes to advance functionality of clinical registries.
• Develop Implementation Plan including consultation with stakeholders

• Collaborate with Platform for Analytics and Data (PANDA) team and Provincial Health Digital Information Services (PDHIS) team to ensure alignment between proposed technical solutions and overall strategy and workplan of PDHIS and PANDA
• Manage the execution of the Implementation Plan for technology changes including:
o develop and document solution architecture
o assess business impact of proposed technical solutions
o project planning and execution oversight
o resource identification
o stakeholder engagement
o scope/change management
o issue management
o provide guidance and support to teams engaged in implementation of technical solutions

Qualifications
• 10+ years experience in enterprise/solution architecture roles
• 10+ years experience working within large, complex health systems at a senior level (experience within the BC Health Sector is highly preferred)
• Experience leading implementation of technology solutions
• Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong English language verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman’s terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholder groups
• Able to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team member
• Familiarity with PHSA clinical registries is an asset
