Summary

Reporting directly to the Electric Power Manager, the Project Manager is responsible to provide project leadership within a high-energy field service/manufacturing environment. This role would manage the execution of all activities required in the different project types that Enerflex is offering. This position is responsible for all aspects of the project from concept through to commissioning. This position offers variety in day to day work, learning opportunities and the chance to add value to our Electric Power group and Integrated Service projects. We require someone with strong communication skills, matched with sound technical, problem solving and decision-making abilities. Your aptitude for ensuring project deliverables is accurate, complete and timely while remaining customer focused, will enable you to deliver the results you need to be successful in this role. You must be able to work effectively within a multi-stakeholder environment and seek to be collaborative on all fronts.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex Ste-Julie branch in Quebec.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide leadership to the project team of Engineers, Designers, Procurement, Production and Field personnel in the execution of Electric Power projects.
• Maintain effective communication and reporting with all project stakeholders both internal and external.
• Develop and communicate project schedule and execution plan with key stakeholders.
• Ensure strict cost controls and change order management.
• Work with the project team to ensure project deliverables are compliant with Enerflex standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, are technically complete, and consistent with the sold scope of supply.
• Identify and understand project risks, and opportunities for efficiencies; seek support as required to ensure positive project outcomes.
• Possible travel to Enerflex Branches, customer offices and sites required at times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong Interpersonal, Time Management and Organizational Skills are required with demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent client management and people skills to facilitate negotiations and conflict resolution as required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant Process and/or Power experience considered an asset.
• Experience in a manufacturing or field construction environment.
• Engineering Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered an asset.
