Job description
Magnet is helping our client, a Consumer Products organization in the Food & Beverage space, look for a Sales Team Lead to help drive sales within their Foodservice Division.
This individual will be a seasoned sales leader who is proactive and has a track record with delivering growth. You should have an entrepreneurial mindset as you will develop the channel strategy, secure new profitable business and help take their business to the next level.
Requirements:
- Deliver the planned annual sales & profit targets for select categories while managing trade effectively
- Create & execute business strategies and tactics as directed
- Managing accounts that are typically sophisticated in terms of category management and complexity. May be assigned to special markets/complex product lines that require significant client relationship skills
- Negotiate annual agreements, promo activity, listing fees, price increases & costing with customer
- Create & present business reviews
- Utilize product, category, and customer/consumer data to identify opportunities and prepare selling presentations
- Conduct sales analytics, using available insights to provide solutions to customer needs
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business administration, Commerce or related field
- 7+ years of CPG Foodservice sales experience having a renowned track record in National account management, distribution or foodservice multi-unit accounts
- Must be strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc).
- Self Starter
- Exceptional time management
- Strong history of sales success wins within the Foodservice landscape
