Job description
JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Production Specialist to join our growing team
DUTIES:
- To assemble windows as per tag or mull report
- To apply interior and exterior options as per tag or mull report
- Apply and sign appropriate shipping tags to the windows
- To use mallet, chop saw, routers, stapler and pneumatic drill guns to apply components
- To use dolly or A frame to put finished window in wrapping when complete
- Wear all necessary safety equipment and follow safety rules
- Keep work area clean & organized
- Comply with JELD-WEN EH&S requirements and legal requirements including policies, standards, rules, and programs.
- Any other duties as assigned by your Lead Hand as directed by your Group Manager or Group Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be quality oriented
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to read and understand production paperwork
- Must be capable to lift large and heavy windows up to 50lbs on and off the final assembly line or use a team lift for larger windows
- Must be able to work under pressure
Must be able to work in an assembly line atmosphere
