Adecco is currently recruiting for a temporary, full-time Lifetime Operator in Ottawa, ON to work at a globally known and well-established company.
As Lifetime Operator , you will be responsible for performing cartridge and fluid testing for the Stability program. This includes all associated activities such as incubation, fluid preparation, hardware set up, generation of test results and all associated paperwork for each study, event and product.
The ideal candidate should possess a College Diploma from a 2-year program or demonstrate equivalent experience, preferably in science or technology-related fields. Typically, this role necessitates a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform cartridge and fluid testing outlined in stability protocols and documented procedures involving, but not limited to, incubating cartridges, fluid preparation, analyzer software setup and cartridge testing.
Perform initial data processing steps using appropriate computer applications to ensure the flow of data for final analysis and ensure output is properly documented and filed for each event/product/study.
Maintain or improves processes or procedures used in current testing and learn procedures required for new products. Organize equipment, supplies and materials (cartridges) utilized in testing to optimize lab testing efficiency, quality and safety.
Leverage familiarity with blood testing and sample preparation, including blood spiking procedures, sample handling and testing on various i-STAT and blood reference devices to support a variety of testing activities.
Troubleshoot problems associated with cartridge testing, equipment failure or non-conformance investigations. Recommend solutions to simple test problems.
Support planning and coordinating resources and activities.
Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines
Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture
Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
College Diploma (2 year program), or equivalent experience- Preferably science or technology related
Typically requires 3+ years of relevant work experience
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule
Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications
Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior
Ability to work independently and in groups
Knowledge of manufacturing within a regulated cGMP environment
Knowledge of statistical methods for process control and quality control
Experience in a regulated environment is an asset.
