Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic creative agency based in beautiful offices in Kingston.
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000
The Role
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Resolve problems in relation to invoice payments.
- Deal with internal queries about payments.
- Ensure that customers pay on time.
- Negotiate repayment plans.
- Create and Analyse financial reports.
- Ensure legal requirements compliance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Manage invoices and tax payments.
- Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
- Bank reconciliation
- Assist with payroll
- Help with employees expenses reconciliation
Key Skills/Experience
- Personable, enthusiastic and keen to be an integral part of a busy team in a small company
- As the sole book-keeper/accountant, this job will require a high level of responsibility
- Friendly and enthusiastic with a confident telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy is essential as is some exposure to Sage Line 50
- Keen to develop themselves and grow with the business over the coming years
- Good attention to detail
