Adecco invites you to embrace an exciting, temporary, full-time role as a Senior Financial Analyst with a leading global company in the medical industry.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of our R&D Controller's team, contributing your expertise to financial planning modelling, process documentation, general ledger investigations, and the development of both canned reports and ad hoc analyses. Your analytical prowess and keen financial insights will help shape critical decision-making processes. To qualify for this pivotal position, you must possess an Finance Degree or Diploma and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.Location: Ottawa, ON (Onsite)
Shifts: 8:00am – 5:00pm | Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular tracking, reporting and analysis of program & non program reporting.
Utilize systems including TM1 and QAD (system with detailed transactions) to analyze actuals and investigate variances.
Partner with the Operations finance team to provide critical financial perspective and insight on material /cartridge cost charged to R&D.
Assist in building deck & consolidation for rLBE3 review & OEM /long term forecasting.
Analyzing Category wise expenditures at a GL & cost center level against budgets and providing feedback on the key variances.
Prepare analytic models to perform ad-hoc analysis to provide aboard perspective on financial impact.
Building relationships with other departments to acquire data and knowledge for required analysis.
Identify improvement areas and actively work with Finance and IT to gain efficiency.
Preparing accruals and journal entries for period end and year end.
Support on any additional projects and ad hoc analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 5+ year's experience in FP&A & Financial Consolidation of complex /large data sets.
Finance Degree or Diploma required.
Senior Financial Analyst needed to assist the R&D Controller with financial planning modelling, documenting processes, general ledger investigation, developing canned reports and ad hoc analysis.
Strong with Excel, PowerPoint and IT systems, self- reliant & adaptable who can come in and effect real change and improvement.
Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.
